We haven’t performed at The Old Kent Barn. This page is a starting point for an enquiry; suitability needs to be agreed with the venue before booking.
Start with your chosen space.
Confirm where the band would set up and whether access is available before guests enter the room. Ask how setup fits around the ceremony, meal and speeches.
If the room needs to be turned around during your day, agree when musicians can unload and soundcheck, alongside the venue’s other arrangements.
Confirm current details directly with your venue coordinator, then share them with us. We’ll discuss whether the proposed line-up and schedule are suitable.
Details to confirm
- Live music policy, sound limiter settings and finish times.
- Performance area and space for guests to dance.
- Power sockets near the band.
- Unloading route, parking and setup access.
- Time for soundcheck before the performance.
Our usual starting point is around 90 minutes for setup, approximately 5 × 3 metres of performance space and at least two standard 13A sockets. Exact requirements depend on the line-up and room.
